Restoring nature as a Certified B Corp.

We have something to celebrate! Treebytree is officially a certified B Corporation.

And yes, we are proud.

This moment means a lot to us. It shows that what we stand for is not only a mission, but a way of working. From restoring struggling trees to supporting local communities, from building thoughtful tech to choosing partners we trust, this certification confirms that we are doing it with care, clarity and commitment.

We worked hard for this, so we would love to tell you a little more!

So, what is a B Corp?

B Corp certification is awarded to companies that meet high standards across people, planet and governance. It is a detailed, long process that looks at how a company is really run and not just what it says on its website.

That means digging into every corner of the business. How decisions are made. How partners are treated. How environmental impact is measured. What legal responsibilities we commit to. How transparent we are.

We spent months reviewing policies, gathering documents, strengthening our systems and asking ourselves the kind of questions that make a company grow stronger.

There are no shortcuts in this process. Which is exactly why we wanted to do it!

Why we did it

Treebytree exists to help people and companies support nature in a way that is honest, impactful and easy to join.

We focus on places where trees are already struggling. Together with local farmers and restoration partners, we help bring degraded land back to life. It is slow work. It takes patience, care and commitment. But it is the kind of work that leads to real, lasting change.

The digital trees we offer support these living trees, in real places, with real people involved on the ground. And we want every part of our company to live up to that same standard.

Becoming a B Corp helps us hold that line. It makes our intentions visible. And it gives our supporters, our team and our partners another credible reason to trust what we are building.

This is for all of us

This is not just a Treebytree moment. It is one we share with everyone who has helped us grow.

If you have bought a tree, tracked one through our platform, shared our story, joined a project or simply supported what we do: Thank you. You are part of this.

From the start, we have believed that restoration can feel easy, joyful and effective. AND it works best when we do it together!

So, what comes next?

More care. More clarity. More restoration, together.

We are working on new ways to improve how you can invest in nature and follow your tree’s journey with more pleasure. Better ways of sharing your efforts. Closer links between the people supporting trees and the people restoring them.

We are also making sure that as our team grows, we stay focused, transparent and rooted in our values.

Becoming a B Corp is a milestone, sure. But it is not the goal. The goal is to build something that keeps making sense for nature, for people and for the future.

Want to get involved?

We are proud to be part of the B Corp community. But most of all, we are proud to be restoring what matters. Tree by tree.
