How to use Treebytree’s Map View

Your company is restoring trees, and that deserves to be seen.

Treebytree provides a satellite view of your company forest, which shows the geolocations of the trees you’ve supported and grows with every new tree you gift or buy for yourself.

With the simple Map View embed, you can bring that same satellite view to your own website. It’s a clear way to show where your impact lives, and an easy way to turn visitors into supporters.

The Map View lets you:

  • Showcase your company forest with real restoration locations and real images of the trees
  • Celebrate your total number of trees in a format that grows with you
  • Add your company logo to make the view your own
  • Adjust the layout so the map fits seamlessly into your site

It’s a visual highlight of your restoration efforts. Simple to use, memorable to see.

How to embed your Map View

  1. Choose your privacy settings
    • Decide if you want to publicly showcase custom names given to trees in your forest.

  2. Copy the code
    • Below the preview, you’ll see an URL link. Copy it.

  3. Paste it into your website
    • Paste the URL link into an iframe on your website. Most CMS platforms like WordPress, Webflow or Shopify support this easily.
    • If you need help, your IT team or web manager can set the map view up in minutes.

Once embedded, your map stays up to date. If you invest in more trees, these new trees will soon appear. No extra work needed.

Your forest, out in the world

Every tree you buy and/or gift has a place on the map. The Map View turns your growing impact into something visitors can see, explore and connect with.

It’s a simple addition. And a powerful one.
